Non-Profit Council

The Council is a Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce membership organization. Any 501(c) Chamber member in good standing is automatically a member of the Brighton Nonprofit Council.  The Council is comprised of nonprofit organizations in the Greater Brighton area.

Mission: To provide a collective voice for the Nonprofit sector in order to enrich the lives of the greater Brighton community.

Meetings: The Brighton Nonprofit Council meets on the third Wednesday of every month, from 11:30 – 1:00.  We are been meeting via ZOOM during this time. 

Benefits of joining the Brighton Nonprofit Council:

• EXPOSURE (we want the community to know more about us)
• EDUCATION (we want to know how to be the best of the best Nonprofits)
• COLLABORATION (we want to work together with businesses, government, and other Nonprofits for the best outcomes for the community)
• EVENTS (we want to create and market events that benefit our Nonprofits, such as fundraisers, and/or provide benefit to the community)

Brighton Changemakers Meetings  (held quarterly)

The Brighton Changemakers meeting was designed to connect small business owners and for-profit businesses with the Brighton Nonprofit Council to discuss collaboration and opportunities that will enhance our community.
