The City of Brighton is set to host the 2020 Fourth of July Fireworks: Home Edition on July 4 at dusk. Due to COVID-19-related health and safety concerns surrounding large gatherings, the event will only consist of the fireworks display and will not include the live concert and community gathering at Carmichael Park.
Residents are encouraged to watch the fireworks from the comfort of their front/backyards looking towards East Brighton (this year’s display won’t be located at Carmichael Park). The fireworks show will also be broadcast on the City’s KBRI-8 channel (Comcast 8 and 881) and live streamed on the City’s website and Facebook page.
Thank you to the sponsors of this event: City of Brighton, Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, Brighton Cultural Arts Commission, Tri-State Fireworks, Inc., and Brighton Fire Rescue District.
If you have any questions, contact City of Brighton Events & Downtown Initiative Manager, Gary Montoya at gmontoya@brightonco.gov or 303-655-2217.
