A beloved tradition in Boulder since 1986, biennially in even numbered years, Historic Boulder, Inc. presents “Meet the Spirits” in the Columbia Cemetery on 9th & Pleasant Streets. Come travel back in time and get to know some of Boulder’s dearly departed permanent “residents” of the Cemetery portrayed by community volunteers through engaging and costumed presentations. Meet the Spirits is an interactive way to learn about Boulder’s history and preservation of the cemetery. Come young and old and connect with our town’s story on a personal level. Special Appearances by the Legendary Ladies, Buffalo Soldiers, the Denver Hearse Association and more! All funds raised benefit Historic Boulder’s programs and the Play Foundation’s fund to maintain and improve the Columbia Cemetery.
